Wozu noch Leute? - For what still people?

Beim Gang über die Weiden kann ich

Mit 20 holt ihn die fünfte Frau seines Vaters aus den Armen der achten nach Hamburg, wo er als Student der bildenden Künste in der Villa der ersten Frau seines Vaters, der achtzigjährigen Tochter des Dichters Richard Dehmel, lebt. Beim Abendbrot unter der Urne mit Dehmels Asche hört er die Stimme des Dichters: "Sei mutig und wandere!" - Tügel soll dem Blankeneser Jugendstil den Rücken kehren und ins Karolinenviertel ziehen. Der Weg führt direkt zu Harly v. Bialy (Lyriker, Sammler von Werken der Maler Penck, Dahn, Blaise, Di Rosa, Combas, Kippenberger, Büttner, Albert Oehlen). Gemeinsam mit dem Enkel eines am Hitlerattentat beteiligten Widerstandskämpfers zeigt v. Bialy erstmals Tügels Bilderzyklus Deutsche Schäferhunde auf St. Pauli und Nackiger Nikolaus im Kiebitzhof. 1983 beteiligt sich Tügel an Köpfe und Gesichter in der Kunsthalle Darmstadt. Hans Barlach stellt im gleichen Jahr Farbbad vor, Tügel ist dabei. Als Antwort auf Yves Lambert's Nouvelle Figuration trifft er mit deren Protagonisten Jean Charles Blaise, Hervé Di Rosa und Combas zusammen. Als nächstes entwirft Tügel großflächige Tableaus für den Mannschaftsgarten des Farbbad-Kasinos, wendet sich aber schließlich von der Inflation der wilden Malerei ab und dreht No-Budget-Filme. Nach der als rassistisch verkannten Produktion Türkischer Honig mit v. Bialy wurde Tügels Film Die Leuchtturmwärterinnen beim Hamburger No-Budget-Filmfestival prämiert. Gegen Ende der achtziger Jahre beginnt der Maler, sich seiner globalen Siemenskunst zu widmen. Seit 1997 entwickelt Tügel auch interaktive Versuchsräume mit Bildungsmitteln, Literaturbekleidung und künstlerischen Produkten in Form handelbarer Objekte (Multiples). Nach seinem 25jährigen schöpferisch intensiven Aufenthalt im schwer erziehbaren und bodennahen Hamburger Karolinenviertel kehrt Tügel Ende der 1990er Jahre zurück in die Gemarkung Bremervörde, die bereits von seinem Vater, dem 1973 verstorbenen Maler und Schriftsteller Otto Tetjus Tügel, künstlerisch verdichtet wurde. Den von den US-amerikanischen Alliierten nach Beendigung des Kalten Krieges verlassenen Radarstützpunkt inspectors of the skies in Basdahl auf der Hindenburghöhe nutzt er fast 2 Jahre lang als Atelier und hochsensitives Ortungssystem. Dort schafft er seinen Gemäldezyklus über das KGF-Lager und KZ Sandbostel Das Echo der Hölle - Stalag X B. Danach zieht er nach Oese auf ein Rittergut, wo er im Verborgenen malt. Trotz eines ihm vom Gutsherrn erteilten Atelier- und Malverbotes entstehen dort die "Heimlichen Bilder". Seine alsbaldige Flucht vor dem protestantischen Appell an die Ziergarten-Norm "Unser Dorf soll schöner werden" begründet Tügel in einer an den Ort seiner Kindheit gerichteten Abschiedsrede (auf CD), die er im Kavaliershaus des Gutshofes in ein Ofenrohr spricht: Heinrichs extremer Abschied von Schraube - Flucht vor der Diktatur des Carportariats. 2005 findet Tügel schließlich eine frei zu gestaltende Plattform für seine schöpferischen Aktivitäten: den in den 1930er Jahren erbauten Hesedorfer Bahnhof (fortan Tügelbahnhof ).

At the age of 20 years the fifth woman of his father gets him from the arms of the eighth woman to Hamburg where he lives as a student of the fine arts in the villa of the first woman of his father, the octogenarian daughter of the writer Richard Dehmel. Bialy points for the first time Tügels picture cycle German Sheepherds on Saint Pauli and Naked St. Nicolas in the Peewit's Court. In 1983 Tügel takes part to Heads And Faces in the Kunsthalle Darmstadt. Hans Barlach introduces Colour Bath in the same year, Tügel is present. As an answer to Yves Lambert Nouvelle Figuration he meets their protagonists Jean Charles Blaise, Hervé Di Rosa and Combas. As the next Tügel sketches wide tableaux for the team's garden of the Colour Bath Casino, however, turns away, finally, from the inflation of the wild painting to shoot No Budget Films. After the film Turkish Honey with v. Bialy was misjudged as a racist production, Tügels The lighthouse women was awarded with the Hamburg No Budget Film Festival. By the end of the eighties the painter begins to devote himself of his global Siemenskunst. Since 1997 Tügel also develops interactive test rooms with educational means, literature clothing and artistic products in the form of tradeable objects (Multiples). After his 25-year-old creatively intensive stay in the hardly educateable and close to ground Hamburg Carolines Quarter, Tügel sweeps in the end of the 1990s back in the district Bremervörde which was already artistically condensed by his father, the painter and author Otto Tetjus Tügel, who died in 1973. Then he moves to the radar base inspectors of the skies in Basdahl on the Hindenburg's Height, which was abandoned from the US-American allies after ending of the Cold War. Tügel uses this base during nearly 2 years as a studio and highly sensitive detection system. There he creates his painting cycle about the prisoner-of-war camp and KZ Sandbostel The Echo Of The Hell - Stalag X B. Then he moves to the village named Oese (Eyelet Screw) on a feudal estate where he paints in secrecy. In spite of to him of the squire given studio ban and painting ban, Tügel there creates the "Secret Pictures".
